British Museum Company

The British Museum Co. is the retail arm of the British Museum which is extending the Museum’s brand beyond the confines of the Museum itself. The first of these outlets opened at 22 Bloomsbury Street, London, and the second has been the new Grenville Shop in the former listed Grenville Library. With the opening of the Great Court in late 2000, the British Museum Company opened a series of tiered retail outlets giving visitors specialised book, children’s and souvenir shops.
